The International Startup Program of AWS Joint Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as "JIC") is a unique and cost-effective platform that strives to provide International startups with comprehensive resources and rich experiences, to empower them for future growth globally.

International startups under the program are able to leverage the AWS Promotional Credit, the technical specialty of AWS’s client support team, connection with local mentors, local government’s beneficial policies, opportunity to receive VC’s funding support, and local operator’s logistical service. The collective work from AWS and our program stakeholders ensured the maximum convenience of international startups and globalcompanies to land China and join the AWS JIC.

Who Are We Looking For?

Generally, qualified startups are preferred to be in lined with below requirements. However, exceptional cases may be reviewed and approved by AWS:

  • Received financing from VC/PE institution;
  • Validated business model in their home country, and mature products or services launched in their home market;
  • In the TMT industry or have clear needs for AWS cloud services;
  • AWS existing global customer or willing to migrate to AWS cloud within 3 months since application;
  • Have or willing to register legal entity or have subsidiary in the JIC located cities;
  • In line with the direction of strategic emerging industry of local government (such as ICT, Cloud, Big Data, AI, IOT, Fintech, and e-Commerce);
  • Chinese entrepreneurs overseas which have intentions to bring their products and business back to China are encouraged to apply.
